Tacloban City, November 24, 2017 - Dr. Minerva P. Molon, Chair, EVHRDC Executive Committee, was the presiding officer of the 2017 General Assembly held at the Filipina Hall, NEDA Regional Office No. 8. She gave appreciation to the people behind EVHRDC for another year of success in the implementation of the activities of the Consortium.  Present were members of the Consortium, Consortium Director, Engr. Ernesto M. Granada and Dr. Sheila N. Tante, the Consortium Consultant for the finalization EVHRDC Manual of Operations.

Engr. Ernesto M. Granada gave the re-orientation on EVHRDC and its operations, followed with  Dr. Shiela N. Tante on the  updates of the on-going finalization of EVHRDC Manual of Operations.  Afterwhich, there were presentations on the 2018 Work & Financial Plan per Committee, done by the respective Chairs, as follows: Mr. Leonido P. Olobia, (Research Management), Dr. Jane R. Borrinaga (Ethics Review), Ms. Elnora Argota (Capability Building-Member) in behalf the CBC Chair Dr. Virgildo E. Sabalo, Mr. Willard N. Riveral (Research Information), and Dr. Nestor C. Sedanza (Structure, Organization, M&E- Member) in behalf of the Chair, Ms. Josephine L. Hipe. On the other hand, the video presentation on 2017 EVHRDC Accomplishments was viewed during lunchtime.

The afternoon session of the activity started with the conduct of parlor games spearheaded by the RIC Chair, Mr. Willard N. Riveral (NSU) along with Dr. Ma. Elsa Gerona (DepEd), member. Games such as Pera o Bayong, Bring Me, Hep Hep Hooray, Fill in the Blanks, Say the Color and not the Word have brought excitement, joy and laughters among the participants*.* Each winner received prizes prepared by the Secretariat.    The exchanging of gifts then happened after the parlor games and was spearheaded by   Dr. Gerona.
